As an Electrical Engineer at CRB, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. Experience collaboration and continuous learning like never before amongst subject matter experts spanning across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and automation engineering; architecture and lab planning; procurement, estimation, virtual design & construction, health & safety, and construction management. How will I contribute?
You will focus on the design and engineering of power, lighting, grounding/bonding, special systems (e.g., telephone/data, security, fire alarm), raceway, cable tray, and other electrical control and building support systems into the built work environment.
You will manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities, and be responsible for overseeing the Electrical discipline scope of work and discipline budget on small to medium projects of intermediate complexity. You will coordinate with internal and external architects and engineers, as well as clients, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
Typical tasks and deliverables include power load, illumination, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations; basis of design reports, code evaluations; one-line diagrams; plans; schedules; installation details; specifications; and coordination with manufacturers and construction trade partners. Tasks will include utilizing software for building information modeling, computer-aided drafting, and engineering calculations. Project work includes directing design activities for all levels of design such as studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
