Print & Prepress Specialist (FTE)

Our gaming client is looking for a PrePress Specialist. This is a full-time, direct-hire position for someone who can work onsite at least three days per week in Seattle. There will also be some domestic travel to printers, and occasional travel to Europe.Please note: this role requires someone who has experience with physical printing (not digital media artists).In This Role You Will Be• creating print production-ready files to supply to vendors (packaging, cards, other assets)• reviewing + approving proofs and materials from suppliers to ensure they are accurate (placement, color, content, etc.) - approvals could be via a web portal or in-person• performing thorough QC checksperforming art/text manipulations, color manipulations, and printer-specific color corrections, as needed• attending out-of-state and local press checksKey Qualifications• 2+ years of experience in pre-press / print-production• experience with offset printing, press checks, and G7 print management• experience with trading card games• strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, + Acrobat• experience working in print, with die-lines, packaging build files, overprinting, and setting up press-ready PDFs• experience with complex printing techniques (spot foils, white underprints, etc.)• strong attention to detail and an eye for color• expertise in print production standards• a love of Disney• experience managing production schedules• experience with foil finishesNice-to-Haves• experience coding in AppleScript and/or JavaScript• experience working in trading or collectible cards• experience using Excel formulas to manipulate text (IF/THEN statements)• experience using EasyCatalog or similar• localization typesettingTo be considered for this role, you must include 3-5 bullet points about how your experience is applicable to this role.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
