Founded in June 2023, Crete Professionals Alliance (Crete PA) aims to drive growth across accounting and professional service firms in the United States. Our initial venture in August 2023 involved acquiring a majority interest in the non-attest assets of a top 300 US-based national firm, positioning us alongside the top 100 US accounting firms based on cumulative revenue. With over ten partner firms, several deals under LOI, and substantial committed capital, Crete PA is poised to shortly become equivalent to a top 40 firm in terms of aggregate revenue, with ambitions to expand into a multi-country platform. Supported

by ZBS Partners, a firm managing over $500 million in assets, and led by co-founders experienced in developing multi-industry platforms, Crete PA partners with local firms to enhance their independence while boosting their revenue and profitability.

Job Summary:  As partner of Savastano Kaufman & Co. LLC you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization and contributing to its continued success.  You will lead, strategize, and manage various aspects of our firm’s operations, working closely with fellow partners and a talented team of professionals.  Your expertise and leadership will guide the firm towards achieving financial objectives, delivering exceptional client service, and upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.   

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree highly desirable. 

  • CPA license

  • 10-15 years in public accounting with proven experience in senior-level work

  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Well organized with good time management and multi-tasking skills

  • Works well in a team environment and ability to maintain positive relationships with work teams and customers/clients

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Preferred experience using Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and UltraTax

  • Ability to work and think independently

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Leadership:  Collaborate with fellow partners to develop and execute the firm’s strategic vision, identifying growth opportunities, and establishing long-term goals.

  • Client Relationship Management:  Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing expert advice to assist them in achieving their financial objectives.

  • Practice Development:  Oversee the development and expansion of the firm’s client base through networking, business development efforts and thought leadership activities.

  • Financial Management:  Ensure the firm’s health by monitoring revenue generation, managing expenses, and implementing sound financial practices.

  • Team Management:  Lead and mentor a team of talented professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional client service.

  • Compliance and Regulation:  Stay abreast of the latest accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory changes, ensure the firm remains in full compliance with industry regulations.

  • Quality Assurance:  Uphold the highest level of quality in all accounting services provided by the firm, conducting regular reviews and maintaining accuracy and precision.

  • Risk Management:  Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them, safeguarding the firm’s reputation and client relationships.

  • Marketing and Branding:  Represent the firm at industry events, seminars, and conferences, enhancing the firm’s visibility and reputation throughout the market.

  • Collaboration:  Work closely with partners from other departments to provide comprehensive solutions to clients and promote cross-selling opportunities.

  • Continues Learning:  Stay current with industry trends, accounting practices, and technological advancements to foster innovation and efficiency within the firm.

This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs.
