Geographic Region: Ohio Valley spanning across Indiana, Ohio, and MichiganThe Field Reimbursement Manager will be accountable for handling the day-to-day operational field-based reimbursement activities in their specified region. This includes conducting reimbursement in-services and educational workshops for Patient Advocacy groups, Health Care Professional offices, Specialty Pharmacies, and distributors that offer CSL therapies. Collaborating with payer and channel Customer Account Managers to educate and address reimbursement challenges across all accounts. Developing solutions to reimbursement issues and enhancing patient access to therapies by working with the field sales team and third-party patient access programs. Engaging with consumer groups to provide reimbursement education and training, as well as nurturing relationships with regional Medicare offices and Carrier Advisory Committees.This part highlights the main functions and duties that an individual is accountable for in their position:• Work alongside payers, specialty drugstores, physicians, physician helpers, and healthcare organizations to obtain appropriate reimbursement for CSL Behring medications.• Help healthcare professionals, sites of care, and their supportive staff with the reimbursement process. Provide sales and marketing teams with in-service training on the essentials of healthcare economic principles.• Implement reimbursement techniques that proactively coordinate with marketing and sales goals.• Collaborate with third-party payers and Medicare institutions to guarantee proper compensation for our products.• Compose a monthly summary encompassing notable activities, achievements, and upcoming follow-up needed.• Study the reimbursement environment for newly implemented products and procedures, addressing aspects such as coverage, coding, and payment mechanisms.• Work with payer and channel Customer Account Managers in educating and resolving reimbursement issues with SP (Specialty Pharmacy) accounts and attend customer account calls with payer and channel CAMs as needed to present reimbursement information on CSL therapies and answer any questions the accounts may have.• Coordinate efforts with the field sales organization and external patient access programs using a patient access hotline to solve reimbursement issues and enhance patients' access to treatments.• Offer field-based reimbursement workshops with account visits and presentations to healthcare providers and other medical staff. Analyze billing procedures for home care companies, pharmacies, and other providers experiencing difficulties with reimbursement.• Work in tandem with consumer organizations to dispense reimbursement education and training. Lead patient education workshops during gatherings hosted by consumer groups at regional and national levels. Participate in orchestrating and conducting educational sessions at conferences organized by recognized consumer associations like IDF, JMF, HAEA, NHF, and more to enlighten attendees about reimbursement processes.• Collaborate with consumer advocacy groups as required to synchronize the utilization of CSL Behring Assurance and Support programs.• Partner with the Patient Services team to align the Hub offerings with the changing reimbursement landscape, which includes updating HUB training and addressing challenging cases.• Engage in trade fairs (like AAAAI, HAEA, NHF, NHIA AMCP, CMSA, etc.) and possess the capability to provide reimbursement insights upon inquiry from the diverse attendees.• Assist the Senior Director of Reimbursement in creating and implementing operational initiatives for key clients.Requirements for the job in terms of qualifications and experience:• Candidates are expected to hold a bachelor's degree, with a preference for disciplines like business, healthcare, or life sciencesExperience:• Demonstrating proficiency in healthcare through 3 to 5 years of industry experience.• Candidates are expected to have prior reimbursement or case management experience.• Having experience with a patient advocacy group would be valuable.• Proficient in communicating effectively through both verbal and written channels.• Illustrated ability to excel in solo projects and when working collaboratively.• - The role necessitates regular travel within the nation, making up a substantial proportion, between 50% to 60%• The necessary qualifications and duties may be subject to change according to local legal and educational obligations.
