You’ll be a key member of the Strategic Engagement Team, playing a critical role in helping to build societal resilience to cyber risk through public sector engagements​. Your work will help governments prioritize cyber investment in critical sectors, private entities, and security controls that are the most efficient at reducing risk to the nation.

You will develop government agencies across the globe as CyberCube clients, while also informing policy through public-private partnerships and regulatory regimes​.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Engagement, the Director of Strategic Government Partnerships will be responsible for building and executing a strategy to engage government agencies in multiple jurisdictions as cyber risk analytics clients.

Success in the role is two-fold:

  • Enabling more government agencies to make more efficient cyber risk management decisions, using CyberCube analytics 

  • Informing meaningful public policy that builds resilience in organizations and society to cyber risk. 

Responsibilities

  • Setting strategy to engage government agencies in US, Europe and Asia on cyber risk management topics and educating on the benefits of cyber risk quantification to achieve their policy agendas.

  • Defining the universe of potential CyberCube government clients and partners and prioritizing outreach, according to your engagement plan.  

  • Documenting and monitoring the competitive landscape, estimating addressable market size.

  • Building and maintaining networks with prospects, clients and other key stakeholders. Engaging ahead of opportunities coming to market, also using wider government frameworks to win new business.

  • Developing use cases and appropriate messaging to align prospect needs and objectives with CyberCube’s unique risk quantification solutions. Utilize market insight, research and network intelligence to achieve your goals.

  • Collaborating with support teams (Sales, Marketing and Client Account Management), acting as executive sponsor on sales, messaging, onboarding and renewal activities.

  • Being subject-matter expert on government-related developments across CyberCube. Your unique selling points will be:

    • Your ability to understand and navigate the complexities of the public sector

    • Aligning those requirements to CyberCube’s capabilities 

    • Your strategic approach to business development

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven ability to generate and progress engagement at senior levels within government

  • Minimum of 10 years recent government experience in the fields of cyber security, insurance or financial regulatory. Preferred jurisdictions USA, UK, Europe 

  • You'll be an innovative and strategic thinker - capable of shaping and leading an engagement strategy and having strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills

  • Experience in business development/ client facing management / account management

  • Experience defining and managing matrixed teams 

  • Minimum of 2 years private sector work experience preferably within cyber insurance or other related cyber risk or insurance background

  • Passionate about our mission to improve the resilience of organizations and society to cyber risk

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with risk modeling tools and analytics 

  • Experience in a financial regulatory field

  • Experience in government procurement frameworks

  • Batchelor’s degree in Political, Legal or Social Science field

  • Highly competent with PowerPoint, Excel, HubSpot CRM
