Daily activities include account planning, prospect identification, lead generation, opportunity qualification, sales calls, supporting the sales cycle, and proposals. You will be measured on how effectively you can partner with the sales team in identifying and developing new opportunities, providing support throughout the sales cycle, and ultimately may progress to running foundational deals more autonomously.Responsibilities• Develop and maintain expert knowledge in the features, benefits and application of Datamaran's offering• Generate new pipeline through prospect engagements including cold calling, emailing, demos and marketing activities of the company• Understand competitive landscape• Interact with and develop relationships with existing Datamaran clients and prospects• Support in creation of sales presentations to customer and prospects in a variety of departments• Achieve sales quota by qualifying top leads• Assist with the transacting of foundational deals• Other duties as assigned• Possess a hunter mentality with commercial outlook• Tenacious, creative and strategic• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines• This role requires that you work out of our New York City-based office on a regular basis (likely 2/3+ days/week)Preferred Qualifications• Some relevant sales experience (preferably in technology and/or a genuine interest in Technology and Sustainability)• CEP Process and understanding of MEDDPIC (and/or MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)• An understanding of and interest in ESG and Sustainability more broadly• Experience closing business• Proven success in building qualified pipeline and identifying new opportunities within a set of accounts• Leading potential clients to an understanding of the options or solutions that are applicable to their situation, demonstrating how features and benefits match their needs• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo is a plus• Excellent work ethic; this job requires flexibility to meet customer expectationNote to recruiters:• Thank you for your ongoing interest in Datamaran but there is no need to reach out to the Hiring Team, HR, Recruiting....
