Job Description

Staring pay around $130k/yr

The purpose of this job is to deploy a sales individual that delivers on sales objectives that are set by senior leadership members to grow market share in the California mid-tier fleet marketplace.

  • Establish relationships with new customers to achieve assigned sales goals and targets
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Prospect for potential customers via calls, in-person, or emails, using various direct methods such as networking and utilizing lead generation tools
  • Consult with prospects regarding business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each
  • Maintain a high level of relevant general knowledge to connect with prospects
  • Work with internal technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
  • Achieve monthly sales quota and KPIs
  • Maintain relevant data on prospects and customers
  • Provide forecasts on sales volumes
  • Work with other departments within the organization to address potential problems and ensure a great customer experience
  • Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated individual with 5-7 years demonstrated success in consultative/solution-based selling in a B2B environment within a relevant industry.
  • Experience selling at the senior management level with a proven track record of routinely closing deals
  • A college degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated success in sales
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry sales, and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to travel within assigned region using own transportation
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, Email Campaigns
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with content writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to analyze data and present solutions
  • Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Advanced customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Understand key concepts and terminology used in fuel and trucking industry as well as internal business processes and protocols
  • Thorough knowledge of company products and offerings
  • Intermediate CRM (preferably Salesforce) skills
  • Ability to recognize and take advantage of opportunities to improve performance
  • Advanced problem and situation analysis skills
  • Attention to detail with organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

  • Travel required up to 100%
