Job Description

As a Recruiter, you’ll be an essential part of our Talent team, collaborating with the Senior Director of Recruiting to develop strategic initiatives that attract top talent and champion our company culture. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making an impact, building relationships, and embodying our core values while showcasing the Daxko brand.

NOTE: We are open to considering remote candidates for this position; however, preference will be given to candidates located in or near Birmingham, AL, who are available for a hybrid work arrangement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to proactively open, recruit for, and successfully close positions, offering expert coaching and guidance
  • Creating exceptional candidate experiences that reflect Daxko’s welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Being a Daxko brand ambassador, using your unique voice to share our story and showcase our vibrant culture
  • Masterfully managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and presenting offers
  • Leveraging our Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters) to maintain seamless communication and precise data management
  • Building and nurturing strong connections with potential partners and educational institutions by organizing and participating in recruiting events.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and employment law updates to keep our processes compliant and effective.
  • Collaborating with the People Team to support training initiatives and champion best practices for interviewing and candidate evaluation.
  • Embracing social media and innovative talent marketing strategies to promote career opportunities at Daxko.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A natural ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and communicate with charisma.
  • Strong time management and organizational prowess to manage multiple priorities effortlessly.
  • A commitment to fostering an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, ADA, and other regulations that guide best recruitment practices.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach coupled with creativity and adaptability.

Your Experience: 

  • Required:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Two (2+) years of experience in a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition role
    • Experience with internet sourcing
    • Experience evaluating data, insights, and analytics to guide recruiting decisions
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2-4 years of experience
    • Experience with recruiting technology (ATS, CRMs, sourcing tools, etc.) will place you ahead of the pack
    • HR or recruiting-related certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP, S/PHR, AIRS, SHRM TAS, etc.)
