Come join in on our purpose – We put people to work, we protect American freedoms, and we help our customers power and improve the world! https://aollc.bizAs The Material Handler Here's The Work You'll Do• Operates industrial truck to load or move materials or equipment.• Lifts objects by hand and cleans work area, machines, and equipment.• Assists in the installation of strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.• Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics or chemicals into machine hoppers or into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrels. This also includes snow removal.• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands together.• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or containers, of hazardous waste. Follows compliance with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) when handling and transporting.• This role is for you if you have these skills:• Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.• Ability to print, read, and speak simple sentences.• Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment, primarily a forklift.• And if you have these qualifications:• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).• 1-3 months related experience.• Valid driver's license required.• Forklift license requiredIn compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $24.71- $27.46/HR.
