The Opportunity

We’re the Organic Social Team and our mission is to make Deel a household name and the most beloved B2B brand for consumers on social media. 

We’re looking for a hands-on producer with social expertise who will join our team as a Creative Production Manager to manage video asset production and creative production strategy. In partnership with the social managers, this role will be responsible for brainstorming fresh ideas; then managing the development (scripting, production, edit) and delivery of video content that pushes our social content into the cultural zeitgeist. 

This job will require you to juggle many different kinds of short- and long-term projects across a range of Deel’s offerings. Above all, you must be a strategic connector of ideas and someone who has the passion, energy, and creative ambition to bring the story of how Deel helps businesses hire & manage their global talent pool to life.

This is a fully remote role, we are looking to balance out our team’s working hours by hiring in the EST/GMT adjacent timezones as the current team sits across PT, ET and GMT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the social managers to develop programming that promotes the Deel brand and products to grow followers of our socials channels across YouTube, TikTok & Instagram mainly (we are also across Linked In, Facebook and Twitter)

  • Programming opportunities should:

    • Lean heavily into repeatable formats that can build help establish the voice on each platform to further grow followers

    • Be driven by platform knowledge (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & Linked In are the priority) with an understanding of syndication opportunities

  • Manage creative briefings 

  • Great creative requires collaboration so building strong cross functional relationships (product marketing, brand, sales) are essential to bringing best in class creative to life

  • Determine the production infrastructure needed for execution of creative vision and project manage the execution

  • Have experience with hands-on production as the role will require a range of approaches to pilot new formats, establish regular cadence and produce creative at scale

  • Oversee the creation of shooting guidance for repeatable formats

  • Manage budgets

  • Oversight of: vendor selection, physical shoot, post-production including graphics, music, etc and final asset lock

The ideal candidate is/has....

  • A portfolio and proven track record of the production of strong editorial creative that gets written, shared and talked about

  • Strong producer who knows how to bring a creative vision to life with a hands on approach and get it done attitude

  • hands-on production experience (e.g. means script-writing, shoot staffing/directing, production budget planning, managing multiple edits) 

  • A global network of freelance physical production partners (creators, shooters, editors, and writers) to hire and manage for new formats that require external production lift.

  • Knowledge of what works across the various social media platforms and experience in multi-channel distribution efforts

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and highly collaborative - loves working with others, isn’t afraid to lead and build from the ground up with conservative budgets

  • Experience using data and intuition to make content that grabs attention and engages its audience. Solid understanding of marketing and social media analytics, but isn’t afraid to take big risks.

  • Constantly looking to discover new talent and voices to build programming around

  • Must be able to prioritize and handle several projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment while adhering to shifting deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working directly with on-camera talent, in meetings and on shoots/sets. Skilled in pitching, presenting & directing with the ability to read the room. 

  • High tolerance for change, and the capacity to accomplish enormous amounts of work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
