Senior Accountant
Democracy Prep Public Schools is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team in Las Vegas. The candidate will support the Southwest region and be responsible for various financial tasks.
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting programs like Intacct or FinancialEdge
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting issues
- Account reconciliation
- Month/quarter/year-end close
- Financial reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash flows and balance sheet analysis
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
