CDL A Driver (Overnight)


Location: Millbury, MA


Schedule: Full-time, Overnight, Monday-Thursday 10 hour shift


Pay Range: $28-35 based on experience



What you’ll do: 


Support all movement of Downeast products from the Ciderhouse to offsite warehouse location and all needed raw materials from offsite warehouse to the Cider House to support a Just In Time manufacturing facility.


Job Responsibilities:

- Safe transportation of product from East Boston to offsite facility and vis-versa (*Low touch/dock to dock, mostly palletized loads)

- Transportation of raw materials from local suppliers to Downeast locations

- Drop and Hook trailers at the off site warehouse (2 trailers)

- Maintain and upkeep daily pre and post trip logs + time sheets for DOT compliance

- Unloading trailers as needed at either warehouse

- Understand DOT regulations as pertains to alcohol beverage + Hours of service

- Coverage of both daytime and overnight needs for transportation

- Operating ERP system as it pertains to loading and shipping product and materials


Requirements:

- Clean MVR

- No drug or alcohol violations in the last 10 years

- Valid CDL-A

- Non-expired medical card

- Ability to pass DOT physicals

- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Embodies Downeast Values

- 6 months-1 year CDLA experience

- Flexibility to take on day or night shift as needed

- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Background checks are conducted in accordance with all applicable laws.
