The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of offset and digital print process supported by strong project management skills to maintain timelines while meeting partner schedules. This role reports to the Associate Director, Art Direction.This role may be based in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.Primary Responsibilities:• Prepare electronic design files with the correct technical requirements for our offset and digital print vendors.• Support the Art Director team in file set ups, creation of art specs, revisions to art, preparing files for print, print collections, adhering to brand color standards• Troubleshoot pre-press issues as they arise• Adhere to established job priority and workflow trafficking to meet vendor schedules and partner deployment timelines• Adhere to company standards of file organization and naming conventions so that all work is done in a consistent manner to allow for coverage• Create PDFs for print and partner review• Collaborate closely with art directors and Mailing Operations team as requirements and timelines evolveBasic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with thorough knowledge in InDesign functions and tools• 2+ years of relevant experience producing files for offset and digital printingIdeal Qualifications:• Experience working in a team environment, as well as independently and autonomously• Experience in variable data printing• Understanding of USPS postal requirements• Commitment to valuing diversity, practicing inclusive behaviors, and contributing to an equitable working and continual learning environment in support of EAB’s DE&I PromiseIf you’ve reached this section of the job description and are unsure of whether to apply, please do! Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location.
