In this dynamic role, you'll be the driving force behind the college and career readiness of high school students, working directly with a caseload of approximately 30-40 seniors. Your expertise in college counseling, coupled with a friendly and approachable demeanor, will encourage students to explore their interests and navigate the application process with confidence. Collaborating with dynamic team members, including the Lead Teacher and Success Counselor, you’ll implement engaging college readiness programs and workshops that can empower students to reach their full potential. Whether it’s through supervising mentoring programs, guiding students in crafting personal statements, or facilitating college visits, each day brings exciting opportunities to connect and inspire. Your understanding of the unique challenges faced by First Generation, Black, and Brown students will help you tailor your support, ensuring that every scholar feels understood and equipped to succeed.
