As a national leader in deeper learning in public education, Harlem Village Academies (HVA) is distinguished as the only charter school network in New York offering a Montessori program for its youngest students and culminating with the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program for its high school students.
HVA is a community of PK-12 schools, a college preparatory program, and a graduate school, the Deeper Learning Institute. In addition, HVA is launching a new national initiative that will build on and encapsulate its 20 years of work in pursuit of deeper learning and education equity across the country.
The unique educational model at HVA focuses on independent thinking, ethical leadership, intellectual curiosity, and intrinsic motivation. Serving 98% Black and Latino students, HVA consistently outperforms the district, city, and state by wide margins, 100% of students earn admission to college each year, and 83% are the first in their families to attend college.

OPPORTUNITY
Role Overview
The Managing Director of Advancement Operations will be a critical member of the HVA’s Advancement Team and will help drive the groundbreaking mission of HVA. Specifically, the Managing Director of Advancement Operations will design and manage systems for tracking, managing and reporting out data to strategically improve upon fundraising efforts.

The ideal candidate possesses the highest level of proactiveness, follow through, attention to detail, efficiency, and quality. The ideal candidate will also have at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Advancement Operations.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $200,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. In addition, HVA offers a competitive range of benefits. This is an on-site position.
