Job Description:
Our product manager for time management capabilities will play a pivotal role in advancing Elite’s 3E strategy and goals. You will collaborate closely with the Product Management, User Experience, and Engineering teams to manage all aspects of our time management, entry, and related mobile solutions. You will meet with customers to understand their needs, define the product strategy and vision to solve their problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully plan, execute and successfully launch new releases to market for cloud and on-premises customers in alignment with the company's strategic goals and customer needs. You will be part of a product team supporting a variety of products in the medium, large and global legal financial and practice management space.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the organization’s Subject Matter Expert and evangelist for time management including active and passive time entry, and mobile capabilities and how they solve customer problems within the legal financial and practice management portfolio
- Manage complete product life cycle including market requirements, product release plans, Agile user story and success criteria authoring, backlog prioritization and maintenance, roadmap definition, and product launch activities
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholder to validate requirements and priorities, product design goals, and business objectives
- Collaborate with the user experience design team to design highly functional, usable, accessible, and visually appealing products and assist in testing their usability
- Collaborate with technology/engineering, delivery services, and customer success departments on product design, plans, implementation, and support
- Monitor industry, competitive, software, and data trends from a technology perspective and summarize findings for senior and executive management to influence strategy and product planning
- Research target market changes and trends and use analysis to identify market requirements for current and future product consideration
- Provide ongoing communication on product roadmap and release plans to organization and customers while aligning the message to the market needs
- Work with the Documentation team to ensure all product changes are adequately documented in release notes, online help, user guides, and knowledge bases and review the content for accuracy
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations at customer conferences, prospect meetings, and internal knowledge sharing sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Alternatively, 3-5 years’ experience in product management and SaaS software development
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in legal or law firm administrative support with direct lawyer interaction in SaaS application usage; experience in the legal or professional services software market, practice or financial management software is a plus
- Experience managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
- Experience with direct customer interaction (external or internal) to learn their problems and incorporate feedback into the design process
- Ability to apply SaaS technologies and innovative solutions to customer needs in collaboration with technology, user experience and other internal stakeholders
- A team-mindset and strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to adapt to change and champion it
- Ability to travel 10% of time
