Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Director to spearhead SoulCycle’s growth by expanding brand awareness among new audiences and strengthening loyalty among existing riders. This leader will balance building brand equity with achieving commercial objectives through innovative campaigns, compelling storytelling, and a strategic approach to audience engagement.

You’ll lead a dynamic team, shape our marketing vision, and bring SoulCycle’s unique value proposition to life across every touchpoint—delivering impactful campaigns, events, and programs that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Strategy & Brand Building

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand heat together with rider acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Ensure that SoulCycle is leading the cultural conversation and creating heat around the brand via brand marketing activations
  • Leverage CRM insights to create targeted campaigns that enhance customer journeys and optimize conversion and frequency rates.
  • Innovate storytelling initiatives to amplify SoulCycle’s brand promise and product experience across all channels.
  • Collaborate with Field leadership to create market-specific activations that support digital and in-studio growth.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and inspire a growing team of Creative, Copywriting, and Operations professionals.
  • Align cross-functional efforts to support SoulCycle’s growth and revenue goals.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Social Media and VP of Partnerships

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in marketing, with 3-5 years in leadership roles—preferably in high-growth, consumer-facing brands.
  • Analytical and data-driven with a passion for turning insights into action.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, fostering collaboration and team growth.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to navigate multiple priorities.

How you’ll be evaluated
3-6 months
: Complete team onboarding, draft and present the annual marketing plan, and launch key campaigns for Q1-Q2 2025
6-12 months: Deploy optimized rider journeys, launch innovative engagement campaigns, and grow key rider segments like Students. Create some sustained energy and heat around the brand.
