Business Development Representative

When severe weather, IT disruptions, power outages, and more occur, it's essential to have a communication plan to keep your people safe. 6,400+ global organizations use an Everbridge Critical Event Management solution to keep their people safe and avoid or lessen disruptions.

 

Our mission-driven organization is looking to add aspiring sales talent to our North American team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). The BDR team is the “lifeline of the pipeline” for our sales organization, and partners with Account Executives and Territory Managers to successfully turn qualified opportunities into successful sales deals. After consistent high performance in the role, BDR's have the opportunity to pursue more advanced roles at Everbridge.


What you'll do:
  • Generate 1 – 3 business sales opportunities weekly
  • Complete 65+ outreach activities daily
  • Respond to and develop marketing leads into qualified sales meetings.
  • Source prospective clients through tools like LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and SFDC.
  • Ability to develop a ‘Why Everbridge, Why Now’ messaging for each prospect interaction & close cooperation with the sales team to identify and follow up on new leads/opportunities and all other inbounds.


What you'll bring:
  • Previous Sales or Sales Internship Experience
  • Highly coachable, optimistic, humble, authentic, and competitive
  • Must have a growth-mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and learn quickly, but have an inclination to ask for help when needed.
  • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.


The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $40,000 - $50,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
