Join Us as a Product Manager - Content Ecosystem at Flip.shop!


About the Role: As a Product Manager in our Content Ecosystem team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and relevance of content across our platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive improvements in content quality, recommendation systems, and user satisfaction and creator growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Define Recommendation strategy: Set the vision for how the recommendation system should evolve to meet user, creator and business growth. Design high-level strategies for personalization, cold-start, new user onboarding, and exploration vs exploitation.
  • Recommendation System Optimization: Work closely with recommendation algorithm teams to iterate models and optimize product strategies to enhance user engagement.
  • Identify and Resolve Pain Points: Address user and platform-centric challenges in recommendation systems, driving new strategies and application scenarios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Policy, Engineering, Research scientists, and Data scientists to streamline execution and achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to drive continuous enhancement of capabilities and features.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above with 3+ years of experience in product management or related fields.
  • Ability to understand the diverse needs of content consumers and creators.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking ability, with a passion for content products.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in content understanding, content policy design, or similar roles within content ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of governance and regulatory environments related to digital content platforms.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary and total compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please note the base salary is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include equity, bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and other progressive benefits.
