The Opportunity 

Flock Safety is growing, and so is our Recruitment Operations team! We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to achieve our aggressive hiring goals, drive a great candidate experience, and provide quality experiences for both candidates and interviewers alike. 

You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to help move candidates through our interview process and ensure a seamless candidate experience. Your main responsibility will be to streamlining all aspects of the hiring process, ensuring a seamless hiring experience for everyone involved. 

How you'll make an impact: 

  • You will manage the logistics of the interview process and scheduling of interviews at Flock with a strong focus on supporting our X organization

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Flock and be the first point of contact for hundreds of candidates a month

  • Proactively work to solve scheduling and hiring challenges 

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive candidate data 

  • Act as a super user of our ATS, including updating candidate records, tracking recruiting activities, and auditing job postings 

  • Provide insights into job performance, effectiveness, and experience using metrics and data from our ATS

  • Identify opportunities to improve the candidate experience and scheduling

  • Be involved in recruiting operations projects

The Skillset 

  • 2+ years of experience in a recruiting role focused on coordination is preferred

  • Excellent organization skills and a strong attention to detail

  • Past experience being involved in Recruiting projects preferred

  • You are someone who is energetic, highly reliable, and collaborative

  • You are a problem solver who proactively discusses areas of opportunity for you and the recruiting team

  • You utilize objective, measurable data to help direct your team to the best strategic decision

  • You thrive in a fast paced work environment, ready for whatever challenge comes next 

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, prior experience with an ATS required

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Learn the Company and Team Processes: Understand our hiring goals and priorities. Familiarize yourself with Ashby, our ATS and scheduling tool. Meet with recruiters to understand their workflows and expectations from an RC. 

  • Master Scheduling Basics: Take ownership of scheduling interviews for your assigned recruiters. Learn how to anticipate and resolve common scheduling conflicts. Partner with candidates and interviewers to ensure timely communication and logistical support.

The First 60 Days 

  • Own Scheduling Process: Take full ownership of scheduling for multiple roles across teams, managing complex interview loops. Improve scheduling efficiency by working with interviewers to identify timeblocks or interviewer availability management. 

  • Candidate Experience Data: Analyze candidate experience surveys for the teams you serve and identify areas where we are strong and areas where we can improve. Make recommendations to the team. 

    90 Days & Beyond 

  • Scale Recruiting Support: Handle a higher volume of interviewees, including last-minute rescheduling and handling complex, multi-day interview loops. You are capable of providing insights and setting expectations of Hiring Managers and Candidates alike. 

  • Prepare for Scale: Flock’s growth journey has only just begun. Take this opportunity to see larger areas and spaces that may need an organizational eye to drive forward as we scale. 

The Interview Process 

We want our interview process to be a true reflection of our culture: transparent and collaborative. Throughout the interview process, your recruiter will guide you through the next steps and ensure you feel prepared every step of the way. 

  1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are. 

  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field. 

  3. The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners. 

  4. The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more. 

Salary & Equity

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between  $68,000 and $90,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options.

At Flock Safety, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators.
