We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented SEO Specialist to drive organic growth and improve search engine rankings across multiple domains. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO strategies and best practices, combined with a hands-on approach to implementing and optimizing on-site and off-site tactics. This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a commitment to staying ahead of search engine trends to deliver measurable results.
SEO Strategy and Implementation
Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to each domain under our parent company, focusing on both on-page and off-page optimization.
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improved rankings and traffic growth.
Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures to improve search engine visibility.
Manage and refine technical SEO elements, such as site speed, crawlability, mobile optimization, and schema markup.
Content Optimization and Collaboration
Work closely with content creators to ensure all web content aligns with SEO best practices and targets priority keywords.
Identify content gaps and opportunities, providing recommendations for new or updated content to improve rankings.
Regularly update and optimize existing content to maintain relevance and performance.
Analytics and Reporting
Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
Track and report on key SEO metrics, including rankings, organic traffic, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Link Building and Off-Site SEO
Develop and implement link-building strategies to increase domain authority and referral traffic.
Identify opportunities for partnerships, guest blogging, and other high-quality link-building tactics.
Monitor the backlink profile of each domain, ensuring a healthy mix of referring domains
Trend Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry tools.
Adapt strategies to align with changes in search engine algorithms and user behavior.
Proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving rankings and driving organic traffic across multiple domains.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Excel/Sheets.
Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, speed optimization, and structured data implementation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with content, development, and marketing teams.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
While each day may vary, here are some examples of tasks you can expect to work on in this role:
Check website analytics and determine how are sites are performing and identify areas for improvement
Research keywords to identify new terms we might want to target for new business goals related to upcoming initiatives, new product releases, etc.
Analyze competitor or competitively adjacent company websites to see how they rank for our targeted keywords, then develop strategies to outperform them
Crawl our sites to find opportunities to optimize our content whether through page structure, meta descriptions, etc to ensure all of our pages are search engine friendly
Hourly compensation is in $USD
We offer a competitive salary reflecting experience and skills
Aside from the base salary, there will also be an additional company contribution to go towards health insurance and additional benefits that you buy on your own
Target 42.5 billable hours per week
Additionally, you accrue Life Leave which can optionally be cashed in each year adding to your earnings

Location
This is a work-from-home setup.
You would work a split shift (approximately 8am-1pm EST and then 9pm-1am EST)

20 days accrued annually
These paid days off each equate to 8.0 hours of billable time.
Expect to use 5 of the days during the Christmas – New Year’s period.

Once per year in December, you can cash out any accrued life leave time. Every 5 days your cash out is worth about $300.
*Life Leave allows team members to use their holidays as it’s meant to be – a break – whilst knowing they’ve got the breathing space to tap into extra leave for the planned and unplanned life moments.
