Senior Product Manager

This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States, with required travel to company headquarters, client sites, and industry events as needed.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own our Data Direct product - sending Fullstory’s best-in-class behavioral data to our customers’ data warehouses to enrich their decision making. You'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to gather crucial customer feedback, translate it into actionable items, and effectively communicate these needs to a team of engineers. This role demands a strong customer-centric mindset and excellent communication skills, as you'll bridge the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs, shaping the future of Fullstory's data platform and contributing to our mission of making digital experiences better everywhere.

In a typical day, you might:

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fullstory's data warehouse product, focusing on integrating Fullstory’s behavioral data into our customers’ broader data analytics processes.

  • Partner with a dedicated engineering team to design, build, and enhance data products that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.

  • Deeply understand customer pain points and how they are using (or want to use) Fullstory's data within their own systems and workflows. Conduct user research, gather stakeholder feedback, and analyze market trends to identify product opportunities and define requirements for feature enhancements.

  • Manage end-to-end product launches, coordinate with Marketing and Sales for Go-to-Market and monitor product performance post-launch partnering with Customer Success.

  • Analyze product metrics, user data, and market trends to derive insights, make data-driven decisions, and optimize product performance. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competition to drive innovation in products

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data management, data analytics, or cloud computing is a plus.

  • Strong technical understanding of data management technologies, cloud platforms, and big data tools. Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and experience with platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Data-driven and customer-centric mindset and ability to use data to inform product decisions.

  • Passion for building scalable and reliable data products that empower customers.

  • Demonstrated adaptability, learning agility, and a passion for staying updated on emerging technologies to drive innovation in products.

  • You will have developed a deep understanding of Fullstory's data semantics, customer data needs, and the competitive landscape for data products.

  • You will have defined a clear product strategy and roadmap for Fullstory's data warehouse product, aligned with company goals and customer needs.

  • You will have launched new offerings or significantly enhanced existing ones, making Fullstory's data more accessible and valuable to customers.

  • You will have established strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, sales, and customer success.
