Music Industry Media Sales Professional

The UK music commercial sales team generates revenues from record labels, tour promoters, instrument manufacturers, and retailers. We work with brands like Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Live Nation, Sold Out Group, Fender, Gibson, Yamaha, The Brit Awards, and all major UK festivals.

Our sales teams have a reputation for being creative and delivering exceptional service to our clients and advertising agencies, they are experts in the markets and embrace a challenge.

What you will be doing...

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work from our Bath or London office 3 days per week and sell a range of advertising solutions across our network of magazines, websites, and events, generating annual sales revenues over £400k per year. You will use your knowledge to build relationships with clients and be a trusted advisor and expert in your market. You will manage the sales process from a client patch of 50+ clients.

  • Knowledge or experience working with record labels or tour promoters
  • The ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Confidence in prospecting and lead generation and securing new business
  • Grow revenue from existing client base by promoting strong relationships and able to identifying new opportunities that work for your clients
  • Excellent influencing, objection handling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
