Role:

As the Associate Director of New Business, Enterprise, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our genetic services across key enterprise sectors, such as life insurers, hospital systems, and employer schemes. This role is focused on driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships with organisations that are committed to improving the health outcomes of their customers. To succeed, you will need a proactive, consultative sales approach, a deep understanding of the healthcare and employer markets, and a passion for advancing health through genetics and biotechnology.

What You’ll Do:

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with life insurers, hospital systems, employers, and other enterprise clients.

  • Create tailored value propositions showcasing the impact of genetic services on health improvement and cost-efficiency.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with enterprise clients, ensuring recurring revenue opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers. 

  • Conduct needs assessments to deliver solutions addressing client pain points, such as risk stratification, employee wellness, and preventative care programmes.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise on genetics-driven health strategies.

Market Insights and Strategic Collaboration

  • Monitor industry trends and market opportunities in enterprise health initiatives, including developments in insurance products, employer wellness strategies, and hospital system innovation.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams to refine service offerings and support the creation of targeted marketing materials.

Sales Reporting and Pipeline Management

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using the CRM system.

  • Analyse sales performance, report on key metrics, and identify areas for growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing and scientific teams to align go-to-market strategies with client needs.

  • Share market insights and best practices within the BD team to enhance overall sales performance.

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the healthcare, insurance, or biotechnology sectors.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise health markets, including life insurers, hospital systems, and employer wellness initiatives.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills, with a strong ability to close new business.

  • Strong analytical and CRM system proficiency to track sales metrics and pipeline progress.

  • A degree in life sciences, business, or a related experience
