Position Summary

At GoodLeap, we build technology that makes sustainable home upgrades attainable—and we’re looking for a talented Senior UX Designer to help us evolve our product portfolio. As a Senior UX designer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand our users’ needs, contribute to product strategy, and design user-friendly experiences across key product areas. You’ll help translate user insights into practical design solutions, ensuring our products are intuitive, impactful, and innovative. 


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Inform the vision and drive the execution of UX design within key product surfaces, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact user experiences that align with business goals. 
  • Lead complex design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring the highest quality design standards are met and delivering seamless, intuitive user experiences. 
  • Deepen our understanding of customers and end-users by conducting user research and developing insights, helping to inform decisions that improve the products we build. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to high-level discussions on product strategy, feature prioritization, and roadmap development. 
  • Champion the user throughout the product experience, advocating for user-centered thinking and ensuring that design is always at the forefront of product decisions, from strategy to execution. 


Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to design simple, elegant solutions to complex user problems, balancing aesthetic quality with user needs and business goals to create scalable, effective designs. 
  • Strong eye for detail in visual and interaction design, with expertise in modern patterns and trends.  
  • Comfortable defining and using actionable metrics to evaluate the success of design decisions. 
  • Practical understanding of user research methodologies, with experience conducting qualitative user research and developing actionable insights.  
  • Expertise with prototyping and rapid iteration, to demonstrate and assess interaction and functionality decisions 
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design direction and decisions clearly, ensuring alignment across teams and contributing to a shared product vision. 


$130,000 - $165,000 a year
This role may also be eligible for a bonus.
