Who we’re looking for;
Graylog is growing and as part of our growth, we’re currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to ideally be based in or around our Houston, Texas worldwide headquarters.
This is not a one-dimensional Senior Accountant role. As such, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the financial operations of Graylog.
As the Senior Accountant here at Graylog, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties such as preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and reports, reconciling balance sheet accounts and bank statements, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), keeping abreast of tax laws and internal policies and procedures, as well as coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
To be successful in this role the Senior Accountant will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial software as well as good analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Accountant who has the ability and understands the importance of having a keen eye for detail and accuracy, knows how to work independently as well as collaboratively, capacity and experience in manging multiple projects and deadlines, all whilst possessing the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
You will report to our Controller who is based in Houston, Texas.
