Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Pediatrician to fill an opening with a medical center located in Fort Stewart, Hinesville, Georgia.

Schedule of the Pediatrician:

  • This is for a Full-time position
  • Duty hours shall consist of an 8-hour shift between the hours of 0730 – 1630, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and Training Holidays as identified by the MTF unless the provider is assigned to be On-call.
  • Shift shall include a non-paid lunch break of up to 60 minutes as scheduled by the department chief or designated representative.
  • Duty hours are subject to change in order to support extended clinic hours and may include weekends. Non on-call hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a Sunday – Saturday week must have been appropriately preapproved.
  • On-call will be scheduled by the Department/Clinic Chief or designated representative. On-call shifts are 12 to 24 hours (based on provider choice)

Responsibilities of the Pediatrician:

  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories.
  • Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress.
  • Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Conduct research and remain up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field
