We are looking for an experienced and seasoned leader to take on the exciting role of Regional Managing Director for COS in North America.
Reporting to the Managing Director for COS in London, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to lead and develop a diverse team, build brand awareness, further grow the business and elevate our customer experience, contributing to our ambition for COS to become a Global Power brand in accessible luxury.
Our North America region consists of over 18 stores & online markets in Canada, Mexico and The United States. Based out of our New York office on 5th Avenue, our North America Regional team consists of approx. 40 dedicated individuals working in a variety of roles. As regional managing director you will have direct people responsibility for 6 senior leadership roles within the team, including heads of HR, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Store Sales, Controlling (Finance) & Marketing & Communications.
In the role as Regional Managing Director, you will be given the autonomy and overall responsibility to deliver on the next phase of our ambitious growth plan for COS in North America, and the full responsibility of the P/L. This means optimizing the customer experience, seeking out new sales opportunities and driving profitability. At the same time balancing long and short-term perspective when developing the brand both digitally and through our amazing portfolio of stores.
We are looking for a leader with a successful track record in brand building, driving sales, profitability and developing a high achieving team. We believe that you will come with an extraordinary drive to accomplish ambitions targets. You have a winning attitude and dare to challenge the status quo, leading others in a complex and ever-changing environment.
In terms of background, you should have sound knowledge of the retail landscape in North America and from prior senior managerial roles where you have developed business plans/strategy, executed them effectively and led teams of motivated, engaged staff to achieve tangible results. We are looking for a leader that has either had responsibility for the entire P&L of a retail organization or has held several senior leadership positions at director level.

This is a full-time permanent role based at our Regional Office in New York. Flexibility needed to travel when required is essential.

Compensation: $222,000 - $259,000
