Position DescriptionThe Business Systems Analyst, working with the Finance and Operations Administrator, will be a lead contributor with the implementation, stabilization, and postproduction support of UKG Telestaff / Workforce Management (scheduling systems).• Contribute to defining system requirements, conducting gap analysis, and identifying feasible solutions that meet defined business objectives.• Perform needs analysis, customization, testing, implementation, and support.• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into systems requirements.• Work at a high level within a team, considering the implications of technology applications to the current and future business environment.• Remain knowledgeable about the configuration and ongoing system support of UKG Telestaff / WFM• Be a technical resource related to integrations, networking, and security.• Contribute to perpetual end-user training and change management.• Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications• Minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experienceAdditional Qualifications And Skills• Previous system support, implementation, and experience with UKG.• Previous experience with PeopleSoft payroll systems.• Familiar with police operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and police details.• Familiar with Human Resources and Payroll Processes• Four years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.• Proven ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.• Solid communication and organizational skills.• Demonstrated team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor.• Ability and willingness to train and mentor others.• Ability to multi-task.Working Conditions• Work is performed in an office setting• This position will be based at our campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our office currently operates on a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of three days per week spent in the office and the remainder working from home. However, this arrangement may change.• Complying with the office’s work location requirements is a condition of continued employment.Additional Information• Harvard University cannot provide Visa sponsorship for this position.• Please provide a cover letter with your application.Work Format DetailsThis is a hybrid position that is based in Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location.
