HER - BRAND MARKETING MANAGER
BACKGROUND
HER is the world’s largest sapphic dating app. We’re building the only dating app that thrives outside of the comp het world, exclusively focused on the desires and goals of sapphics. We’re a remote team that’s looking for smart and driven people who care deeply about the LGBTQ+ community to help us grow and scale HER to millions more queer folks across the world.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Brand Marketing Manager to join our team at HER. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in growing our audience through strategic campaigns which run across owned, earned, and paid channels. Relentlessly tapped into sapphic culture and chronically Online, you’ll serve as the lead creative ideator on HER brand efforts, designing and owning a campaign calendar that positions HER as the leading sapphic dating app, and partnering with channel managers to ensure creative consistency and excellence across campaigns. Your efforts will be instrumental in building brand awareness, authority, and a deep sense of community among our users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Development and Execution
Create and execute innovative marketing campaigns that align with HER's brand voice and mission, and which are designed to receive press and social amplification. (Campaigns will include pure brand marketing, sale promotions, and/or product marketing efforts - your job is to own the design and messaging of all types, partnering cross-functionally where necessary!)
Build campaign briefs and lead marketing meetings to organize the team around campaign initiatives
Design and own the HER campaign calendar
Execute campaign elements as needed, including blog posts, social posts, press release, and internal comms
Brand Development and Governance
Partner with our Design team to establish and govern the HER visual and verbal identity
Serve as lead copywriter and/or reviewer to ensure we are communicating clearly, boldly, and in a way that will resonate with our community of sapphics
Brand Equity and Awareness
Ensure all marketing efforts consistently reflect HER’s brand values and personality.
Identify and pursue out-of-the-box opportunities to build HER’s brand outside of traditional digital channels (eg, partnerships, sponsorships, activations, etc.)
Monitor brand sentiment and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
Report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE
4-6 years of experience in brand marketing, preferably within the consumer tech or mobile spaces.
A deep understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community and awareness of the latest trends, topics, and voices in sapphic culture
Proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content marketing, and digital advertising.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and embrace bold ideas.
Complete self starter growth mindset. Ability to find growth opportunities and execute autonomously.

Salary range: $100-125k, dependent on experience and geographic location.

Your experience of 4-6 years in brand marketing, paired with a deep understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, will empower you to identify growth opportunities and craft strategies that celebrate sapphic culture.
