About the job


The Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) team at Hopper builds and maintains multi-billion dollar travel portals which provide delightful travel experiences for millions of customers. 


As the Program Delivery Manager, HTS Travel Mobile, you will work closely with Product & Design teams at both Hopper and our B2B Partners. You will serve as the single point of contact with our B2B Partners related to Mobile App development. You will coordinate product initiatives across multiple Hopper product teams, and be our champion for ensuring the new Mobile App is closely aligned with our desired vision for the HTS Travel mobile experience. 


The App development project is a long term initiative that will require both Hopper and HTS teams to work as a closely knit team. Your job is to ensure streamlined communication and efficient execution across product, design, engineering and business leaders on both sides of the house. Beyond that, you will be a thought leader for developing a best in class digital travel experience for HTS Travel on mobile platforms.


What would your day-to-day look like:
  • Define and document requirements for Mobile App development product initiatives
  • Work with product managers and engineering leadership to conduct capacity and roadmap planning
  • Write business cases to ensure effective prioritization of product initiatives, ensuring engineering resources are used wisely
  • Create and maintain a Mobile specific product development roadmap that captures work planned across multiple product verticals
  • Partner with a diverse team to ensure streamlined development, including Design, Engineering, QA, Legal, Finance, Marketing and our B2B Clients
  • Manage periodic check ins with product leadership, highlighting project timelines and risks
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the project, launching a new mobile app


An ideal candidate has:
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, prior product management experience a plus
  • Highly proficient analytical abilities to draw accurate conclusions from data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with external partners and technical leaders
  • Ownership and pride in their work, is uncomfortable with poorly developed products
