Role
Under the umbrella of a unified marketing strategy, assists the head of Marketing in ensuring a comprehensive approach to digital marketing, content creation, search engine optimization (SEO), public relations, and cross-department collaboration. This role ensures that all marketing efforts uphold the credit union's core values and protect its brand identity while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and law enforcement community. This includes, but is not limited to, carefully protecting and promoting the credit union’s reputation and ensuring all materials reflect a consistent, professional image across all platforms.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
35%
Adheres to the annual marketing plan and budget while coordinating the development and execution of the credit union's promotions, projects, special events, and product rollouts. Ensures alignment with strategic goals and target markets.
25%
Demonstrates proficiency in various software programs for production, design, and research, including the marketing customer information file (MCIF) program for target market identification and tracking. Manages and updates the credit union’s content management system (CMS) and digital banking platform.

Coordinates SEO strategies and digital marketing research, including implementing SEO best practices, tracking campaign results, and staying up-to-date with financial institution trends and competitor analysis.

Develops and manages content across various platforms, including blogs, videos, social media, email, and digital channels, focusing on product education, new member growth, and brand awareness.

Coordinates marketing and content research efforts to understand audience preferences, industry trends, and campaign performance. Utilizes data to refine strategies and improve results.

Participates in public and law enforcement community relations activities to promote the credit union, fostering relationships with members and the wider law enforcement community to increase brand visibility.

Collaborates with other departments (e.g., lending, member services, business relations) to ensure seamless communication and execution of marketing initiatives, product rollouts, and promotions.

Pay Rate of $24.05 - $30.06 per hour.
Requirements
Experience
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A college degree.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with members and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.

Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
