đ What we're looking for: Humata Health Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II to modernize our existing healthcare technology solutions. In this role, you'll be helping a team of existing engineers enhance and support our existing applications. Specific areas of expertise may include C#, SQL and Vue JS.

â Responsibilities
Technical Development
Design and develop backend systems and RESTful APIs
Contribute to the modernization of existing codebases
Implement database design and optimization strategies
Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines
Create and maintain automated tests for critical components
Debug and fix issues in existing applications. Specifically, debugging stack traces and web application debug tools
Other duties as assigned
Collaboration & Leadership
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements
Mentor and guide junior engineers
Document technical designs and implementation details
đ Role Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
2-5 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework
Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their services
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes
Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
Good communication skills and team collaboration
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
âPreferred Experience & Skills:
Experience with healthcare software or familiarity with HIPAA compliance
Postman and related API tools
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Understanding of microservices architecture
Experience with performance optimization techniques
Familiarity with DevOps practices
Understanding of security best practices
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React)
Ability to balance technical debt with delivery of new features
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to team members
A proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges
