In this role

As an employee Marketing & Communications Intern at IDEXX, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Gain real-world experience: Dive headfirst into the exciting world of Employee Marketing & Communications, working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you throughout your internship.
  • Shape the employee experience: crafting materials that help to enhance employee satisfaction of the IDEXX Total Rewards Package, in line with our Employee Value Proposition, that not only helps to attract top talent, but also retains and motivates our incredible team. Your ideas will have a real impact!
  • Increase Employee Awareness by contributing to the further development, roll-out and adoption of our Employee Benefits Platform.
  • Keep the IDEXX Total Rewards package alive with employees by developing communication materials based on our Total Rewards Communications Calendar.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work in a dynamic and inclusive environment where you can voice your ideas, learn from experts and bring innovative solutions to the table.
  • Professional Growth: develop your skills and build a strong foundation for a successful start of your career. You’ll leave IDEXX with valuable experience and knowledge.

What You Will Need to Succeed 

  • You are a student of Communication or Marketing, Business Management with a focus in marketing/communication or an HR student with excellent communication skills.
  • You are a team player and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • You are passionate about marketing, employee engagement and creating value for individuals.
  • You bring a problem-solving and hands-on mentality and can multi-task.
  • You are proactive and creative, and always looking for opportunities to improve things when you see they can be done in a better way.
  • You are eager to learn and ready to tackle new challenges.
  • You are ready to make an impact from day one!
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English. Additional European language skills will serve your candidacy with a great advantage. 

Some practical aspects

  • You are available to start on July and can work with us for 5-6 months full-time (40 hours a week)
  • You will receive an allowance of 650 euros per month.
  • You need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree to be eligible for this internship and to secure university approval to start the assignment. If you are not an European national, you will also need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement.
  • Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). We are also open to a hybrid format (ie: working each week some days from the office and others remotely from home).
