Fashion Marketing Intern

About ICG
ICG is a global holding company focused on buying & building digital properties that power frictionless online shopping experiences.

Our portfolio includes leading affiliate marketing platforms like Stylight and MyBestBrands. Retailers and e-commerce brands typically allocate ad spend across numerous channels, with Meta and Google dominating the landscape. ICG aims to disrupt this space by acquiring and then growing smaller, higher-potential platforms, offering retailers a powerful alternative for growth.

As the fastest-growing performance marketing network across Europe and the US, we drive over $250 million in annual sales for more than 3,000 merchants. ICG has 15 owned-and-operated properties spanning 15 markets in 7 languages, and we are redefining how brands connect with high-intent shoppers worldwide.

About this Role

We’re looking for a Fashion Marketing Intern to join our growing Marketing team. With tens of millions of visitors across our online platforms, you'll help across a variety of marketing channels/campaigns to engage shoppers at all steps of their journey. From inspiration (Pinterest, Instagram, Blogs) to discovery (on-site promotions, in-app campaigns, email marketing) to purchase (promotions and sales) and delivery (unboxing experience, physical product) — you will help to create delight and drive more sales globally.

We expect this role to be ongoing for ~20 hours per week, with some flexibility for more/less hours as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Email Marketing: you'll coordinate with our external marketing agency to help with customer segmentation, copywriting, campaign set-up and reporting. This will mean writing content, curating products and promotions, and A/B testing campaigns to see what works!

  • Social Media: whether it's Instagram stories or Pinterest boards, you'll help inspire fans and followers, staying on top of the latest trends and patterns to drive engagement.

  • On-site/In-App Campaigns: flash sales, push notifications and new product launches — you'll promote them all across our platforms. You'll use Canva, ChatGPT and a variety of tools to pull together creative and copy that drives results.

  • Unboxing Experience: getting a new designer bag or footwear from the latest collection is exciting — you'll help to enrich our unboxing and delivery experience by creating moments of surprise and delight for customers. This is a chance to be scrappy, creative, and see the results of your work!

About You

  • Passion for Fashion: you follow the latest trends, know which designers and brands are hot right now, and are genuinely passionate about what's happening in fashion. You should be curious, invested and engaged in ecommerce and luxury goods.

  • Ownership Mentality: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to be done and take accountability, even for tasks that aren’t officially “yours.”

  • Startup Environment: You enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic environment where things move fast and processes evolve quickly. You are okay with some things being very structured, and others being a little loose.

  • You are fluent in English and comfortable communicating primarily in English with team members around the world.

What We Can Offer You…

  • An opportunity to learn and grow more than you have in any of your previous roles! We are scaling quickly, and there's an incredible amount of work to be done on all fronts. We are a lean, scrappy team where everyone wears multiple hats and works closely together. You'll be able to work on projects and initiatives that interest you and expand your scope.

  • A flexible, remote/hybrid environment where you’ll have a lot of freedom and flexibility. We hire adults and treat them like adults.

  • The chance to have a meaningful impact on a business and see the results of your work.

What we can't offer you...

  • Perfect Work/Life Balance. Startups can be unpredictable — while we aim for balance, there will be times when evenings or weekends are necessary to keep things moving. We encourage you to manage your schedule and find ways to create balance that works for you.

  • A ton of people and resources. We operate lean and invest thoughtfully. This means you’ll need to get creative and wear multiple hats to get the job done — and we’re still figuring things out as we grow.

Our Process:

  1. Applications: we’ll review your application within 72 hours, and you’ll hear from us no matter what. We’re committed to transparency — if we need more time to decide, we’ll let you know. No ghosting.

  2. Interviews: you'll meet with Brett, and a few other members of our Product and Marketing teams. Our conversations will be a mix of behavioural questions, deep dives into your experience, and plenty of time for you to ask questions. Each session will last 30-60 minutes over Google Meet.

  3. Offer: this is the fun part — we'll make an offer, and start getting ready for you to join us!

If you have any questions throughout the process, feel free to reach out to Brett. Thank you, and hopefully we talk soon!
