Job Description

Join us as a Design Intern in Downtown Minneapolis! Our design team plays a crucial role in shaping the brand’s visual identity and delivering creative solutions across various platforms. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Design Intern to join our team and contribute innovative ideas to our projects.

Position Summary:

The Design Intern will collaborate with our creative team to develop compelling visual content for digital and print media. This role is ideal for students pursuing a career in graphic design, branding, or digital marketing. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, working on real-world projects while expanding their design skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating graphics, layouts, and visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop brand-consistent visuals.
  • Support the development of print materials, such as packaging, brochures, and promotional content.
  • Edit and enhance images, illustrations, and multimedia elements.
  • Help maintain and organize the company’s digital asset library.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and design best practices.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree with at least one completed year in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX design and digital media trends is a plus.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and apply it to projects.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However, the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this role is $21.00 -$22.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience.
