As a full-time employee in the FIS University Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including bi-annual performance connects with your manager. 

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated “Learning Week” where you will:

  • Learn how to work within a corporate environment
  • Learn about the exciting world of Fintech and the role FIS plays
  • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

This position is for a June 23, 2025 start.

About the Role

As a Business Process Analyst E, you will work with the Industrial Engineers and the Operations Leadership teams to document the end-to-end production process and training materials for our best-in-class products that will define the world of fintech. You’ll work as part of a team in an agile setting and must be a self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and organized. You will also be supporting the industrial engineers to drive improvements in the production areas. This will require the analyst to work directly with the IE to understand and analyze the business today and to make recommendations on improvements related to efficiencies that align with our Future Forward initiatives. Anyone with a strong data, analytics, statistics, math, reporting, coding, or engineering capabilities can apply.  Candidates must have a can-do attitude and flexibility to focus on highest priority projects.

*This role will require monthly travel to our Bolingbrook, IL or Romeoville, IL location*

About The Team

Join the Commercial Service and BPaaS (business process as a service) Delivery Center of Excellence team (CoE). The Delivery CoE is a centralized team within CS & BPaaS that possesses specialized domain knowledge and expertise. This team serves as a valuable resource that multiple groups within the organization can leverage. Our Delivery CoE focuses on process improvement and engineering, with a mission to partner with the business to enhance the end-to-end delivery of CS & BPaaS products and services.

As you will be working with IEs at other sites, you will have the opportunity to travel to other locations. The primary travel location will be to Bolingbrook, IL and Romeoville, IL. 

By joining the Delivery COE, not only will learn the depth of our products, but you will also get the breadth of our offerings. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintain documentation related to production & other operational business procedures
  • Maintain work instructions associated with card and other product manufacturing
  • Work with ops management and Industrial Engineer to create training materials for operations activities
  • Complete annual reviews on procedures/training materials to ensure they remain accurate and up to date
  • Work directly with our industry engineer to understand and analyze the business today and to make recommendations on improvements related to efficiencies that align with our Future Forward Initiative
  • Work with the engineers to build reporting in PowerBI or other reporting tools
  • Executing projects to realize production site improvements leveraging proven project management skills
  • Delivering working product increments to our clients, on time, on budget and according to the best quality standards
  • Working with product management, stakeholders, peers, and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog for your team
  • Driving improvements in solution design, analysis, and testing activities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team

Bonus If You Have

  • Six sigma green belt or equivalent
  • Knowledge in procedure writing
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management
  • Power BI and Power Automate tools
  • Code writing such as Python or SQL or R
