Senior Engineer, Mechanical Design and Analysis
Kairos Power is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and analysis of pressure vessels and systems for Generation IV Nuclear Power Plants. The company is committed to clean energy and improving the quality of life.
Skills
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- ASME Code knowledge
- Solidworks proficiency
- Stress analysis techniques
- Mentoring and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate mechanical components for compliance with codes and project requirements
- Perform stress analysis and post-processing of analysis data
- Develop tools and methods for evaluating pressure vessels and other systems
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integrated design
- Mentor and train entry level engineers
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering
- PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months
