Our client in the Healthcare manufacturing industry is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be integral in supporting the company's sustainability goals and driving initiatives to minimize environmental impact across their global operations. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analysis, sustainability reporting, and project management to contribute to global environmental efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustainability Data Management:
    You will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability data across multiple facilities. Your role will focus on monitoring energy consumption, waste generation, and other environmental indicators, preparing this data for internal and external reporting.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    Lead the preparation of sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with relevant sustainability frameworks and standards. You will work closely with internal teams to gather data and provide timely responses to inquiries regarding environmental performance.
  • Project Development & Implementation:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and compliance with environmental regulations. Your work will help shape and enhance corporate sustainability strategies.
  • Research & Industry Benchmarking:
    Stay informed on emerging sustainability trends and best practices, and use this knowledge to make recommendations for improvement in existing programs. You will also benchmark the organization’s sustainability efforts against industry peers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    Assist in assessing environmental risks and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. Your proactive approach will help the company maintain its commitment to responsible environmental practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sustainability or environmental role, preferably within a multi-site operation.
  • Strong experience in scope 1, 2, and 3 data gathering and knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, CDP).
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and knowledge of sustainability regulations (e.g., CSRD) is a plus.

  • Occasional travel to company locations may be necessary to support sustainability initiatives.
