Data Management Engineer (Cleared)

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) seeks an experienced Journeyman Data Management Engineer to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. ITC will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions, including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes to cleanse,
  • Integrate and evaluate datasets and models for complex business problems. Facilitates the integration of cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, optimizes data processing workflows, and resolves data-related issues. Integrates new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms, supports appropriate data tagging for data used in all projects, assists in implementing data lost prevention measures

Location: On-site in Tampa, FL

  • Junior level: 0-3 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree,
  • Journeyman level: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Senior level: 10 years of experience and an MA/MS degree.
  • Substitutions for education:
    • Associate’s degree plus 4 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
    • Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree
    • 6 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
    • 12 years of work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work with teams but is self-motivated to complete projects independently.
  • Ability to work entirely on-site with minimal accommodation

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have TS/SCI clearance.
