If you're looking for a firm with a strong team connection where you can be your whole self, have an impact, advance your skills, deepen your experiences, and have the flexibility and access to constantly find new areas of inspiration and expand your capabilities, then consider a career in Advisory.KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Product Owner in Deal Advisory and Strategy Analytics for our Deal Advisory practice.Responsibilities:• Develop and clearly articulate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and market needs for data, analytics, and AI solutions for consulting services; translate this vision into actionable roadmaps and backlog items• Lead cross-functional teams of designers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure efficient and effective project delivery• Facilitate sprint planning, review meetings, and retrospectives, and ensure the team remains focused on critical tasks and goals• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and developers to gather requirements, negotiate priorities, and communicate progress and outcomes• Drive product innovation in data, analytics, and AI by exploring emerging technologies, business opportunities, and user insights; encourage a culture of creativity and experimentation within the team• Oversee product releases and ensure they meet quality standards and user expectationsQualifications:• Minimum five years of recent technical Product Owner experience, with a preference for candidates with an engineering background• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, including an understanding of basic IT principles• Experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban, and more) as well as experience with planning and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, Lucidchart, Mural, and Figma• Familiarity with deal advisory, mergers and acquisition, or corporate strategy desired; experience working within the domain of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence• Willingness and ability to travel as needed• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
