About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Inbound Business Development Representative to join our fast-paced SaaS company. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming leads, playing a crucial part in our sales process. Your primary responsibility will be to engage, qualify, and convert leads generated from our marketing efforts into potential sales opportunities.

We are focused on hiring in the Salt Lake City, UT and New York, NY metropolitan areas. We will bring the team together periodically for in-person training and work sessions.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from various channels including email, web forms, and social media.

  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure they align with our target market and product offerings.

  • Provide initial product information and value proposition to potential customers.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign details and lead generation efforts.

  • Schedule and coordinate sales meetings between qualified leads and the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, tracking interactions and lead progress.

  • Continuously seek to improve knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

  • May involve handling sensitive personal data

Your qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales development in a B2B SaaS company 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead qualification processes

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to engaging new customers
