Labcorp is recruiting a Contracts Administrator/Paralegal for a dynamic team in North Carolina. This hybrid-based role could either be located out of Burlington or RTP.
Contract Administrator/Paralegal - Corporate IT
Primary duties will include:
Loading documents into the Contraxx system.
Maintain electronic, of all Agreements/Documents.
Prepare requests for review and countersignature.
Review documents and make determination if further internal review or vetting is required.
Comparing Contracts/Agreements, preparing emails and returning executed documents to vendor.
Works with the Law Department to interpret regulations.
Generate NDAs and other Agreements.
Works with other Departments within the company to obtain information and confirm compliance (i.e., Human Resources, Tax Department, Benefits, Political Contributions, Compliance Department, Data Privacy Department, etc.)
Requires knowledge of contract language.
Clearly and accurately informs vendors/users and/or management the status of all ongoing projects, including time frames, changes to plans, problems, solutions, etc.
Assist with tracking status (via Excel spreadsheet) of documents through the work flow.
Completes all follow-up work completely, accurately and within established departmental timeframes.
Schedule meetings in Outlook, and other clerical tasks such as: special projects as may be assigned by supervisor.
Attend weekly meetings with Contracts Team, IT Sourcing Team, various IT Operations Teams, and legal counsel.
License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associate's Degree w/3-5 years of experience.
Skills required:
Organization skills and having the ability to adapt to high pressure situations is a must.
Good communication skills, verbal and written, necessary.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Ability to change directions in work load based on required timeframes.
Must have the ability to work independently, and as a team, with little to no supervision.
