Chief of Staff

Lattice is an early stage crypto venture fund that has backed more than 75 exceptional teams since launching in Summer 2021. We’ve quickly become one of the most active early stage funds in crypto and we don’t intend to slow down anytime soon.

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work across our investment, operations, and marketing functions. You’ll partner with our two GP’s and our COO to help supercharge our marketing, event programming, investment and trading operations, investor relations, and fund operations and finance. This will include tracking of companies, investors, new opportunities and internal projects, fund branding, marketing, and communications, and event planning (e.g. CryptoPeaks). This role is a jack or jill of all trades and will provide the opportunity to broaden and strengthen relationships across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities include:

Fund Operations

  • Interacting with operational service providers such as administrator, legal, outsourced providers (accounting, tech, compliance), audit, and tax teams
  • Assisting with operational processes including trade booking and settlement, quarterly NAV reviews, management company books, regulatory filings
  • Assisting with special operational projects, including infrastructure build and future RIA compliance program
  • Assisting with the management and tracking of our pipeline of new investment opportunities
  • Communicating with existing Lattice portfolio companies including identifying synergies across the portfolio

Fundraising and Investor Relations

  • Helping with fundraising strategy including identifying prospects, managing conference calendar, and producing investor-focused content
  • Assisting with management of relationships and communication with Lattice investors, including ad-hoc reporting requests

Marketing and Events

  • Planning Lattice events, including CryptoPeaks (our annual ski conference) and dinners/parties at industry conferences
  • Attending local conferences and some occasional travel
  • Helping to drive Lattice’s brand awareness through channels like Twitter and our podcast
  • Building Lattice marketing materials including decks
  • Special projects (assisting with the build of internal products, new programs, research deep dives)
  • 5+ years of work experience, preferably 2+ years in the crypto industry
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills: you’ll be interacting with founders, investors, and industry connections
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive and resourceful mindset, able to think out of the box and to come up with new ways to improve Lattice
  • Knowledge of crypto assets/Web3 and a preexisting network with founders and investors is not required but a plus
