We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Payroll Specialist to manage multistate payroll processing for our employees. This role requires strong knowledge of ADP payroll systems and intermediate Excel skills to analyze and report on payroll data. The ideal candidate will be an experienced payroll professional with expertise in multistate payroll and compliance.Key Responsibilities:• Process multistate payroll for a diverse workforce, ensuring timely and accurate payments• Manage employee records, deductions, and benefits data• Resolve payroll discrepancies, answer employee payroll inquiries, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations• Prepare and maintain payroll reports, including taxes, garnishments, and other deductions• Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll procedures• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain updated employee information• Assist with payroll-related projects as neededQualifications:• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist• Strong knowledge of multistate payroll processing• Proficiency in ADP payroll software• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills• Strong problem-solving and communication skills• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Payroll certification is a plus• Experience with other payroll systems or accounting software is a bonusPay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hourSearch managed by: Chelsea MuttonBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
