Position SummaryAs the Senior Marketing Manager for Life Time's Retail division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy for branded merchandise and apparel, nutritional products, fitness equipment, and hard and soft goods. This newly established position involves collaborating with brand marketers across the organization, executing promotional campaigns, and expanding sales channels to position Life Time Retail as the preferred destination for products promoting healthier, happier lives.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesStrategic Retail Marketing• Develop and implement short and long-range strategic retail marketing objectives for Life Time Retail across multiple channels.Marketing Tactics Execution• Source, secure, and execute designated marketing tactics within budget parameters through various channels, including events, e-commerce, Life Time shops, member communications, and team member communications.Channel Coordination• Coordinate marketing efforts across different retail channels, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach.Workflow Management• Manage workflow between the marketing team and external vendors, including graphic designers, digital media, and public relations agencies, to drive retail-focused initiatives.Audits and Analysis• Administer periodic website, social media, digital campaign, and grassroots audits to ensure proper retail growth and objectives are met.• Conduct qualitative and quantitative market analysis, presenting findings and recommendations to senior staff, with a focus on retail performance.Marketing Planning and Relationship Management• Draft new marketing plans, adjusting for past retail performance.• Manage relationships with external agencies, including public relations and content creators, to enhance the retail brand presence.Procurement and Collaboration:• Manage procurement processes for retail-related items, such as signage, infrastructure, apparel, and merchandise.• Collaborate with local CVBs and endemic parties to develop relationships and identify retail collaboration opportunities.Retail Sales Optimization• Implement strategies to optimize retail sales across channels, including events, e-commerce, Life Time shops, member communications, and team member communications.Minimum Required QualificationsYears of Experience:• 10+ years of prior Direct to Consumer marketing experience.• 5+ years of prior retail or brand marketing experience; experience in diverse retail channels is a plus.Education:• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field• Masters Degree is a plus, but not requiredOther:• Passion for retail and expertise in driving sales through various channels.• Positive energy to effectively represent the retail brand internally and externally.• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with basic experience in Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).• Intimate working knowledge of retail-focused platforms and social media channels.• Excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.• Ability to build working relationships with all stakeholders within the organization.• Clear and effective communication skills.• Ability to handle high-pressure situations.Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:• Active driver’s licenseLife Time is a place for everyone.
