ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Business Development Associate. The Associate will drive referral volume from primary and specialty care physicians, medical clinic referral coordinators, hospital discharge planners, and other patient referral sources in the assigned market(s). The position will report directly to the National Business Development Director and work hand-in-hand with LifeStance’s operations team members to grow our practices’ referral relationships. The Associate will spend their time both in the field visiting referral partner offices and working remotely, building relationships and serving as the face of LifeStance.


COMPENSATION: $60,000 - 70,000/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan

LOCATION: Primarily remote, with 10% of your time visiting with referral partners


RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and foster relationships with referring provider organizations to drive patient volume for our practices.

Collaborate with our local practice operations team to increase local touch points with existing referral partners.

Lead frequent virtual and in-person visits to primary and specialty care offices, hospital discharge planners, and other referral sources.

Arrange educational meetings in coordination with LifeStance’s clinical leadership teams to increase clinician to clinician interactions.

Attend local conferences and other marketing opportunities, as needed.

Expand the depth and breadth of existing referral relationships by developing relationships with senior leaders of primary and specialty care practice groups.

Operate with high integrity in compliance with company policies and procedures and laws/regulations.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.

3+ years of marketing, sales, and/or business development experience.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Detail oriented.

Proactive self-starter who is motivated to achieve goals and matric-based targets.

Collaborative in a team environment.

Comfort using data to prioritize efforts and drive improved performance.

Open to receiving constructive feedback.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
