The Customer Deployment Team at LILT
The Customer Deployment team at LILT is at the forefront of driving customer success through technical excellence and strategic implementation. We work directly with our most complex enterprise customers to design, deploy, and optimize LILT solutions that transform their global content operations. Our team combines deep technical expertise with strong project management and communication skills to ensure successful customer onboarding and adoption.

This position can be based out of our Emeryville, CA or Indianapolis, IN offices and will be expected to work in the office in a hybrid capacity. Additional locations include the Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston metropolitan areas where you will start as fully remote and then transition to hybrid once offices are opened in those locations. Fully remote applicants will also be considered.
Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.
What You’ll Do
As an Enterprise Solution Manager, you will lead the technical implementation and customer onboarding journey for LILT's most strategic and complex enterprise customers. You will be responsible for ensuring rapid customer adoption and value realization through expert solution design and seamless coordination across pre-sales and post-sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead onboarding coordination and related customer-facing communication for our most strategic and complex customers.
Support the solution design process while developing and maintaining comprehensive technical solution specifications
Drive customer onboarding to completion within 30 days of sale (10 days for accelerated motion)
Coordinate across product, customer engineering, and customer success teams to ensure successful deployment
Manage technical support throughout the onboarding phase
Lead day to day customer communications and expectation management, in partnership with CSM and AE.
Create and execute project management plans aligned with post-sales team
Drive platform and connector adoption to achieve customer outcome metrics
Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in technical solution design and implementation for enterprise software
Proven track record of managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex solutions
Excellence in customer-facing communication, business acumen and relationship management
Experience in driving customer adoption and success metrics
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to navigate and resolve challenging customer situations
Background in localization or enterprise software preferred

Our Story
Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. They were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn’t used for enterprise products and services inside the company and left to start a new company to address this need – LILT.
At its core, LILT has always been a machine learning company since its incorporation on March 6, 2015. At the time, machine translation didn’t meet the quality standard for enterprise translations, so LILT assembled a cutting-edge research team tasked with closing that gap. While meeting customer demand for translation services, LILT has prioritized investments in Large Language Models, believing that this foundation was imperative to the future of enterprise translation.
