About the Role: 

Lyra Health is looking for an exceptional Lead Product Designer to help craft solutions across the highest impact moments in a member’s mental health journey to search for care. As a product designer at Lyra, you’ll drive initiatives to successful outcomes for users and the business by approaching problems holistically with speed and simplicity to elegantly solve multi-faceted, complex problems that help members get started with Lyra.


This role will be a part of the Client Enrollment team, which supports a member’s first encounter with Lyra from registration to booking with a provider. As a member of this team, you’ll work from idea to implementation alongside product designers, product managers, engineers, clinicians, and executives to introduce and unlock access to mental health care for millions of users worldwide.


This role can be carried out hybrid, both from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, and remote/virtually. Candidates must be physically located within commuting distance of our headquarters.




Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end user journey from ideation to final production on the Client Enrollment team
  • Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing designs using high-quality wireframes, user journeys, cross-platform interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual designs
  • Design experiences across all of our platforms: iOS, Android, Web
  • Participate in design critiques and present work regularly in stakeholder feedback meetings
  • Evaluate design opportunities through business goals, UX research, competitive audits and data insights
  • Intuitively know when to expedite initiatives vs when to spend the extra time to deliver the largest impact
  • Leverage intuition and experimentation when the full design process can’t be run 
  • Build relationships with cross-functional team members across disciplines, and effectively speak to process, goals, and team vision
  • Present to Lyra’s leadership with confidence while moving quickly with a rapid experimentation mentality  
  • Partner with engineers as they build and ship solutions
  • Balance member and business goals
  • Contribute to Lyra’s holistic design system


Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI related field with experience working on mobile
  • Proven track record of working within a product team to ship successful products to users
  • Experience implementing design systems across a range of platforms in an iterative software development environment
  • Highly proficient with design tools (Figma, Principle, etc)
  • Ability to think big and understand complex feature sets, shaping design for multi-disciplinary projects
  • Mastery of design craft
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well on a highly collaborative and cross-functional team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Motivated by partnering with leadership and comfortable with rapid changes in direction to determine the most optimal path forward 
  • Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, HCI, or equivalent practical experience

$149,000 - $205,000 a year
As a full-time Lead Product Designer, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $149,000 - $205,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
