About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and ambitious Growth Marketing Manager to own our marketing channels at Mainshares. The primary focus will be on scaling our community of accredited investors from 500 to over 10,000 members, while owning lifecycle marketing designed to maximize the activation rate.

We are looking for someone who loves the craft and is looking for a hard but meaningful problem to tackle. Success in this role looks T-shaped - you stay up to date on the various channels and strategies but enjoy going deep and becoming a total expert in what works.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in scaling customer bases in the financial or SMB worlds, thrives on identifying new market opportunities, and possesses a strong understanding of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire and activate new-to-SMB equity investors, including venture capitalists, real estate investors, and successful business owners.

  • Execute end-to-end performance marketing campaigns, taking responsibility from ideation to creative and copywriting to campaign management and reporting.

  • Experiment with various go-to-market tests, including referral partnerships, SEO, and social media marketing.

  • Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing strategies to convert leads into activated customers.

  • Build out our reporting and analytics stack, allowing us to measure the performance of various channels, campaigns and landing pages.

  • Collaborate across teams to align campaigns with platform features and business goals, ensuring seamless go-to-market execution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing or demand generation at venture-backed startups, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or traditional finance.

  • Proven ability to scale user or investor bases through performance marketing, email marketing, and partnerships.

  • Experience sourcing, vetting and managing contractors for creative.

  • Analytical rigor, with experience building funnels and tracking performance using tools such as Segment, Hubspot, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling campaigns and content.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with rapid iteration cycles.

  • Passionate about growth marketing as a craft, with a deep curiosity for the latest trends, tools, and growth strategies.
